Find Eco Events in Dorset July 2023

Updated: Jun 26, 2023

Why not take part in Plastic Free July, do your bit to try and use less or even no plastic during the month of July. Just by saving crisp packets, sweet wrappers, or bread bags when you see them in a little pile it makes you more conscious about the ways in which you can stop using single use plastics (most supermarkets now collect them so you can take a handful back to them when you do your shopping). Why not go back to the traditional way of buying sweets, find a local retailer who will sell you sweets weighed out and placed in a paper bag, you can then use something like an Elephant Box Snack Pot for your child's after school snack.

If you want to know more check out the Plastic Free July website.

1st July we'll be joining the lovely people from the Purbecks and surrounding areas at the Stoborough Summer Fete. A lovely event bringing the local community together starts at 2pm.

7th, 8th and 9th July we've got our debut appearance at the Dorset Volksfest.

A weekend of fun, music, VW's, food, drink and camping for all VW enthusiasts and their friends. So excited our Classic Beetle 'Murray' will be coming along too.

15th July we're back in Prison - Dorchester Prison Market, its worth coming just for a nose.

Did you know Luther was filmed there? Its free entry into the market, but you can pay for a guided tour when you'll learn all sorts about this very historic building in the heart of Dorset.

23rd July we'll be in the market place in Blandford alongside lots of other local small businesses.

Show your support and come and buy from a local trader rather than via the internet, improving your carbon footprint!! Your purchases really do make a difference to local businesses as well as being more eco friendly purchases; plus you'll receive great customer service from an individual that cares about their customers and cares about the environment.

29th July we'll be at Athelhampton House, such a beautiful country house hidden in the countryside just near Puddletown. More details to follow closer to the event.

Monday 31st July we're thrilled to be back in Swanage, one of my favourite events of the year. This photo shows the view from my stand last year, tough to take... Look forward to seeing you in Swanage, I went for a dip after the busy morning selling last year such a great day.
