My Story

The Mum of two amazing adults, I'm very proud to have started my little business in later life.  Having worked in a school for 18 years as a Finance and Business Manager it was time for a complete change.  I've always liked to do my bit with recycling but that was really as far as it went.  After visiting my daughter in Canada in 2019 we regularly visited a lovely little eco shop, this was run completely by volunteers, people who felt passionate about helping the planet.  It was such a refreshing concept.  It made me more aware of the types of changes I could personally make in my everyday life and I didn't know of similar shops in the UK.  I felt the best way to share my message was to take my products to the customers, and hence Dorseteco was born. I attend Markets and Events across Dorset and surrounding counties and can be found under my gazebo with all my lovely products at some amazing venues. I am simply encouraging other like minded individuals to change their routines into more sustainable, eco friendly habits. 

I am no expert myself but I'm loving making these changes and constantly finding new ways to live a more sustainable life.  I believe that together we will make a difference.  Let us together change consumer trends for a better future. I have chosen a range of eco products of the highest quality which are either recycled, repurposed, sustainable, compostable or biodegradable products.  Lowering both my own and others impact on the planet.
